​Position: Secretary/Treasurer

​Rowena was born and raised in Haleiwa and Waialua. She graduated from Waialua High and Intermediate School and the University of Hawai‘i at Manoa with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Management and a Master of Science degree in Speech/Language Pathology. Rowena has been a Speech/Language Pathologist with the State of Hawai‘i Department of Education for 20+ years.

Rowena, her husband James, and their three children have been volunteering at Loko Ea since 2008. In her free time, Rowena enjoys cooking out, spending time with her family at the beach, and reading mystery novels. In addition to volunteering at Loko Ea, Rowena is a wish grantor with the Make A Wish Foundation.
